The Fondation des Académies Musicales is a foundation hosted by the Fondation pour l’école, recognised as being of public utility by the decree of 18 March 2008.
The Fondation des Académies Musicales came into being in 2016. This young foundation has as its purpose to promote the creation and development of Académies Musicales in France.
Its aim: to develop a network of Académies Musicales throughout France, offering an integral education to the greatest number of children, without conditions of means, through the exceptional instrument that is music.
To this end, it seeks to encourage the sharing of educational, human and financial resources.
The Académie Musicale de Liesse is the first school depending on the Fondation des Académies Musicales. It thus holds the role of pilot school, and pursues the aim of helping the next Académies that will soon come into being.
