Our home
In the course of its history, the Academy has had to enlarge in order to welcome more and more students. Today we are settled in Précigné, in the former Preventorium.
For 400 years there have stood the buildings of what was a boys’ collège at the Revolution, an internment camp “for undesirables” during the First World War, a preventorium and more recently the Centre Basile-Moreau.
Since 2022, the students have brought back to life, by their joy and their singing, these buildings of 8,000 m² which belonged to the Marianite Sisters of Holy Cross.
Our students' timetable

Here are two typical timetables, for a student in the pre-choir school and a student in the choir school.
During each unit, the student may have:
- an academic class,
- a time of tutoring or of personal study,
- a piano lesson or another instrument,
- a musicianship class,
to which are added a daily time of piano practice, a time of practice on the second instrument where applicable, and possibly an instrumental ensemble lesson.
Each student thus has an entirely personalised timetable.

Our uniform
For the singing of the liturgy as for ordinary life in the Academy, our students wear a sober and dignified uniform, adapted to each circumstance.
Here are the uniforms worn by the students of the Académie Musicale de Liesse:
- Usual uniform: black shoes, grey trousers, white shirt, grey jumper and a tie in the colours of the Academy.
- Concert, Vespers and special-occasion uniform: the usual uniform together with the navy-blue jacket bearing the Academy’s coat of arms.
- Winter cape and uniform scarf: a wool cape and a wool scarf in the colours of the Academy.
- Summer outing uniform: beige shorts and a white polo shirt in the colours of the Academy.
