How much does tuition cost at the Académie Musicale de Liesse?
Tuition ranges from €350 to €820 a month depending on household income, internal bursaries included: 30 % of students received one in 2024-2025. This covers full boarding, small-class teaching, the complete music curriculum, educational supervision and concerts.
This amount is adjusted to each family's income. If you cannot pay the standard fees, we invite you to fill in the financial aid application below.
Please note that our tuition fees cannot be compared with those of a “standard” day school. They include:
- full board, Monday to Friday, for roughly half the year (a budget of about €170 a month, or €2,000 a year per student)
- academic teaching in small classes
- guidance for further studies, Parcoursup and beyond the bac
- high-quality pastoral supervision
- the complete music programme
- sports activities
- boarding-life activities
- concerts in France and abroad.
Our fees remain substantial, and our aim is to allow any child, whatever their social background or their parents' means, to join our Academy.
Thanks to the support of several foundations and the generosity of donors, we are able to award bursaries to ease the burden of tuition fees for some families, and also to encourage social diversity within our school.
To apply for a bursary, please send us the following together with the application file:
- a photocopy of your latest tax assessment (all pages)
- a handwritten covering letter setting out the factual reasons for your application for financial aid
- the financial aid application form below:
It is not possible to make “earmarked” donations to reduce tuition fees at the Academy.
However, to reduce your tuition fees, you can:
- submit a financial aid application to us; depending on the file, we can grant a reduction of between 5% and 50% (see our financial report).
- apply for a bursary from foundations and associations such as the AES, etc.
