The growth of human qualities
At the Academy, particular care is given to the growth of human qualities: camaraderie, honesty, cleanliness, a sense of order, a sense of responsibility, and so on.
Boarding is also a school of autonomy, proper to each boy's development.
Through the year, every boy also takes part in the upkeep of the house and in the ordinary household tasks.
The boys are educated to take on responsibilities little by little within the Academy.
The house system (capitaineries)
The Academy divides all the boys into four mixed-age houses (capitaineries), from CM1 to Terminale.
In each house, the older boys look after the younger ones: they accompany them in daily life, watch over their well-being and help them to progress — at study, in the refectory, in the chapel, on the sports fields.
For the younger boys, the captains and team leaders can be called on at any moment, like a large extended brotherhood that guides, welcomes and listens.
The system forms a sense of responsibility in the older boys, gives the younger ones concrete models to turn to, and above all creates that family spirit which runs through the whole life of the house.
Without family spirit, there is no affection; without affection, there is no trust; without trust, there is no education.
Talks and general culture
Regularly, the boys hear a formation talk on a social or human subject — courtesy, manners, the use of time, screens, commitment, public speaking.
These talks, given by adults from many walks of life (business leaders, religious, doctors, soldiers, artists, journalists), open the boys to the world outside and nourish their own thinking.
Sporting life
Every day, our boys have about an hour of sport.

In sport, particular care is given to the practice of charity, team spirit, clean language and fair play.
