From 3e to Terminale, the Academy works with each student in the building of his personal project: self-knowledge, discovery of professions, choice of specialisms, Parcoursup applications.
Knowing oneself in order to choose one's path
From 3e onwards, students follow a self-knowledge course. Knowing one’s temperament helps one understand oneself, recognise one’s personal challenges and grow in virtue.
A characterology test, then Hexa3D professional-profile tests, are offered to our students.
Discovering careers
Three complementary ways to give students a taste of working life.
Master Class
Many adults come to present their professions and their vocations — farmer, mayor, educator, firefighter, journalist, priest, entrepreneur, researcher, engineer — to introduce the students to the world of work.
Orientibus
A guidance tool designed by the Pays de la Loire Region, equipped with digital tablets and virtual-reality headsets to discover professional environments in a fun and engaging way.
Careers fair
Organised by the Director of Studies together with former students and parents, it allows students in 3e and in the lycée to meet professionals from every field informally.
Work experience
Students are encouraged to undertake placements throughout their schooling. The Academy helps them arrange the placement agreement and prepare for the experience.
A first encounter with the world of work, which helps them think through their choices and future plans.
Post-baccalaureate guidance
Step-by-step, structured guidance from collège to Terminale.
- In 3e — discovering the paths of former students, discovering professions, first thoughts about the future.
- In Seconde — choosing specialisms is on the agenda from the start of the year: presentation of each specialism to students and to parents, and presentation of the tracks offered at the Academy.
- In Première and in Terminale — a personalised guidance plan, drawn up with the parents. Practical skills covered: writing a first CV, applying for a placement, interview technique, etc.
Parcoursup
Daily support throughout the year to understand how the higher-education admissions platform works, the courses available, where they lead and how to switch between them.
Each year we draw on the work of previous year-groups: personal statements and applications are kept and passed on as a starting point for the students who follow.
A collective memory that is enriched year after year, at the service of each new project.
